What is Keyword Rich?

Simply put, you want your website to be seen by the public. In order to be seen, you need to appear in the search results for the words (keywords) your audience is typing in. There are numerous factors that go into this but the foundation of it all starts with a keyword rich domain and a search engine friendly web site.

What am I getting?

Not only will you get a search engine friendly web site but you will also have a Keyword Rich domain name(s). There are some keywords that are searched for over 100,000 times per month just in the US alone. That’s why it’s so important these days to make sure you know the basics of SEO if you have a website.

What is SCO?

Well first, it’s SEO. “SEO is the process of increasing the amount of traffic your website receives from search engines. Search Engines like Google.com,Yahoo.com, live.com (formally msn.com) and ask.com use formulas called algorithms (the process is also referred to as natural or organic) to determine how high to rank your website based on selected keywords and phrases. These algorithms are changed every so often and it is important to keep up. I constantly work at maintaining sites ranking through all the major search engines – but mainly Google.”

But I have a website already!

Having a website doesn’t mean you are easily found on the web though. Google places a lot of weight on the age of  your domain (www.site.com) and the keywords in your domain name (along with many other factors as well). Although it makes sense to have your actual company name in your domain, it makes even more sense to have something like www.YourCityYourService.com, since the majority of people search their city name and the service they are looking for.

Why can’t I just go buy a keyword rich URL myself?

You can … but more than likely it’s already taken. Keyword rich domain names are disappearing at a rapid pace. Huge companies are starting to purchase all keyword rich domains that apply to their company so that no one else (especially competition) can get their hands on them. Be sure to do extensive research before you go out and buy a ton of keyword rich domain names though.
